Getting access
Bilrost is used by lending teams. To use the add-in you need a Bilrost account, which your company sets up for you. If you don’t have one, ask your Bilrost administrator, or email support@bilrost.ai.
Using the Excel add-in
The add-in brings your deal data from Bilrost into your Excel workbook.
In Excel, open the Home tab and select Bilrost.
Select Sign in to Bilrost. A sign-in window opens. Sign in with your work account.
The Bilrost panel shows your deal’s data and whether this workbook is up to date.
What you need
Excel for Microsoft 365 on Windows or Mac, Excel 2019 or later on Mac, or Excel on the web.
A Bilrost account.
Older versions of Excel, such as Excel 2016, or Excel 2019 on Windows, can’t run the add-in, and Bilrost doesn’t appear in them.
Common questions
I can’t find Bilrost on the Home tab
Quit Excel completely and open it again. If your company’s IT team added Bilrost for you, it can take a day or more to appear. If it still isn’t there, ask your IT team whether it has been added to your account.
The sign-in window closed and nothing happened
Select Sign in to Bilrost again. If it keeps happening, email us and tell us which version of Excel you use.
Excel says Bilrost now starts with this workbook
Bilrost opens with your workbook so it can tell you whether your work is saved, even when the panel is closed. You can turn this off in Excel’s add-in settings.
Excel asks about macros before Bilrost opens
That message comes from Excel, not Bilrost. It appears for macro-enabled workbooks (.xlsm). Answer it, and Bilrost continues.
The panel says my account doesn’t have access
You’re signed in, but your account can’t see this deal. Ask your Bilrost administrator to give you access.
